The Salt Cellar has been serving Southwest Oklahoma and North Texas since 1979. We started in a 1300 square foot space in the Mall in Lawton, Oklahoma, selling gifts and best seller Christian books. Linden and Jo Riley and two others served the people of this area at that location for several years. The Riley''s heart was to provide a wide selection of Christian material to the people and Churches of this area. The Salt Cellar grew from the one space in the Mall to two when they opened another store in a strip center in Lawton. With the addition of Sunday School Curriculum and Church supplies, area Churches were able to obtain material more readily. In October of 1996 The Salt Cellar consolidated its operations and opened the present location, a 7300 square foot facility, in the Cache Road Square shopping center here in Lawton. The Salt Cellar provides a full selection of Christian Books and Bibles. Our state of the art Music department includes a wide selection of Christian artists and accompaniment tracks. Our music listening center contains a selection of accompaniment tracks and listening CDs available to download and burn on demand. Also available to burn on demand are children's listening CDs personalized and sung by Veggie Tales, Barney, The Wiggles, Disney Princesses, Elmo and coming soon Mickey and Friends. We also offer Gifts and Cards that are uplifting and inspirational.
